How to check online EPF Claim Status on the EPFO website?
Wondering how to check the status of your online EPF claim? It’s simple! You can track it directly on the official EPFO Member Passbook application:
- Visit: Link to EPFO Member Passbook application or Link to UAN Website
- Login using your UAN and password.
- Navigate to the “Claim Status” section.
This application consolidates your EPF information, allowing you to conveniently monitor your claim’s progress without needing to visit multiple websites.
Note: You can only check the status of claims submitted through the UAN portal using this method.
- Visit the EPFO Official Website: Go to the official website of EPFO: //unifiedportal-mem.epfindia.gov.in
- Click on “Our Services” and Select “For Employees”: On the EPFO homepage, hover over the “Our Services” tab in the main menu. From the dropdown menu, select “For Employees.”
- Choose the “Member Passbook” Option: Under the “Services” section for employees, click on the “Member Passbook” option. This will take you to the Member Passbook login page.
- Log In to Your Account: You need to log in to your EPFO account to access your passbook. There are two ways to log in: a. Using UAN and Password: Enter your Universal Account Number (UAN) and password, along with the Captcha code. Click the “Login” button. b. Using Aadhaar: Alternatively, you can log in using your Aadhaar number if your UAN is linked with Aadhaar.
- Access Your EPF Account Details: Once logged in, you will be able to see your EPF account details, including your current balance, contributions, and EPF Claim Status
General Timeline:
- Online Claim Submission: Submit your claim through the Unified Member Portal using your UAN and Aadhaar.
- Claim Verification: EPFO verifies your eligibility, service, and claim reason.
- Claim Processing: The process involves cross-verification with your employer.
- Settlement: Under normal circumstances, claims are settled within 10-15 working days.
- Communication: Track your claim status on the Unified Member Portal.
- Fund Credit: Approved amounts are credited to your linked bank account.
